Strathblane Gardening Club is a thriving group, and we welcome new members. We range from the beginner to the highly experienced; from the several-acre garden to the window-box. The club meets regularly between September and April, usually on the last Friday of the month, with a programme of entertaining and expert speakers. In the early summer, we go on organised trips to visit gardens elsewhere. The club is a great place to share triumphs and disasters, pick up tips from fellow enthusiasts, and to buy interesting plants. Members also enjoy a 10% discount on plants bought on any Wednesday from Mugdock Plantaria.
The current programme of events is given below.
The visiting fee for a non-member to come to a meeting is £2, and annual subscription is £12. The monthly meetings are held in the Kirkrooms, Strathblane at 7.30 on Friday evenings.
