Strathblane Cub Scouts

The Cub Scouts are the middle section of the Scout Group and are for boys aged 8-11 years.

We meet in the Scout Hall behind the Doctors’ Surgery in Dumbrock Road on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8.30 p.m.

We play a wide range of games from “run-around” games to “quiet” games to games that assist the boys in developing certain skills.

We do a wide range of activities and have a Badge Work Programme which includes all the old favourites plus some new ones. Our activities vary from map reading, knotting, home help to athletics, cycling, craft work, general interest activities and many outdoor activities. We also visit places of interest and have day-away trips.

We assist the Community with the “Village Clean-Up” and any other projects that we can help with.
